When Heidi M. came to us to create a family portrait for her sister who’s husband had recently passed, we were all touched by her thoughtfulness. The amazing story behind this caricature has definitley earned it the top spot for October! And, as always, the artist did an amazing job!
Background: Forida-esque (it was the last vacation they took together and it holds wonderful memories).
Scene Description: Please have the man holding the baby somehow. Please show him sitting but don’t showcase a wheelchair. Please don’t showcase his missing legs. Please don’t showcase his missing fingers. Please have the three guys in some kind of Hawaiian shirts. Please give the baby a baby bottle with the base of a Diet Mountain Dew can (his favorite drink). Also if there’s a way to incorporate Devil Dogs (his favorite food).
One of the most underutilized and FREE ways to brand and promote a business is your email signature. Considering the number of emails you send, this aught to be a no-brainer.

I know it’s been a while since we’ve posted on our blog – things have been a bit crazy here and hopefully will settle down soon.
In addition to reaching our 10,000 order mark in our www.GiveAcaricature.com business, we’ve moved from Portland, OR to Gilbert, AZ (in the Phoenix area).
We’re still going thru the upheaval of the move and hope to have things settled soon – but no worries, we’re able to satisfy orders just as efficiently as we did before! We’re just holding off on things like facebook page updates and blog posts. And getting used to the 100+ degree heat

One of my favorite caricatures this past month was for a 1st Anniversary Gift. Their scene description was:
Background: Picnic in a park, sitting on a blanket with a wicker picnic basket and a lake behind them with ducks swimming. There are ducks near the blanket looking for food.
Person Specific: The man wearing an aikido uniform with iphone in one hand showing a basketball game. The woman wearing traditional Pakistani clothing (as seen in picture) holding a travel brochure.
